I am going to guess: the female pilot was a LGBTQ member who had a long history of angry and even violate out bursts. the out bursts were mostly about how unfair the world is and how she needs to be treated special. She had been posting her thoughts and those thoughts included thoughts of suicide. that is why her online presences had to be erased before her name was released.
the story that they had to inform the family is stupid as they released the other military peoples names immediately. The story does not hold water.
